Catherine Harper Potter

Catherine Harper Potter, 96, went home to be with our Lord Wednesday, October 25th, 2023. She was born November 23rd, 1926 to Daniel and Tamsey Harper.

Catherine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Rex Potter Sr. as well as three sisters and one brother. She was a loving Mother and Granny to so many.

She is survived by four children, Rex Potter Jr., Francis Nethercutt, Danny Potter and Cathy Casey; ten grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Catherine was a founding member of Reelsboro Christian Church and was instrumental in building it. From turkeys to turnips, children to collards she raised them all.  When not farming or selling produce in Reelsboro, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Together they traveled to all 50 states including multiple trips to Alaska with their camper in tow.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 2-4 pm at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home.

Her funeral will be Monday, October 30th at 10 am at Reelsboro Christian Church with Pastor Riley Green officiating. Graveside to follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
