Charles Douglas Haley Jr.

Charles Douglas Haley, Jr. (Chuck) of Pamlico County, died on Wednesday, January 20 ^th at Carolina East Medical Center after a brief illness.

Chuck was born September 19, 1943 in Durham, NC to the late, Charles Douglas and Lucille Burnette Haley. He was also predeceased by his sister, Judy.

Chuck was educated at Riverside Academy, Duke and NC State. His vocations included professional landscaping and commercial fishing.

Chuck married Jane Limbocker in 2000, and they have resided in Pamlico County for the past 20 years. He loved horses and dogs and was devoted to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassion and caring of others, his strength in the face of adversity and his wry sense of humor. Chucks’ perfect day was any day on the water, preferably fishing.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Jane, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held later this year.
