Christine Darnell Daniels Smith

Christine Darnell Daniels Smith, 79 of Aurora, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center-Greenville.

She worked as a beautician for 15+ years then volunteered with Aurora Rescue and later became an EMT instructor through Beaufort County Community College. She loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonner & Dea Daniels; daughter, Donna Marie Lloyd; son, Richard Earl Lloyd; sister, Mavis Powers; and brother, Jeffrey Daniels.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Brent Smith; step-daughter, Stephanie (Wesley) Bowers; brothers, Ashley Bonner (Lareen) Daniels, Henry (Joyce) Daniels and Kirby Daniels; sister, Bertie (Ed) Arnhols; and grandson, Caleb Asby.

Her memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14th, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leslie Whealton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
