Constance (Connie) Valeda Garon Daily

Constance (Connie) Valeda Garon Daily was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on September 2, 1941.

She passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, with her daughter Suzanne (Suzi) Daily-Daniell lying in bed next to her taking a peaceful nap with her rosary beads in her hands, her daughter’s hand on her belly and with her sweet boy “Rip” (Rottweiler) mémère’s pride & joy laying on the floor just by her bed. Her family (son, Christopher, son, Donnie & wife, Jennifer; granddaughter, Renee’ and fiancé, Kyle) were close by checking in every chance they got along with her dear friend, Arlene Teall.

Connie loved Bingo and dancing and had many friends at her place for 4 years Truewood by Merrill in New Bern, NC.

In 2025, she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and as the disease progressed, sundowner’s syndrome was added to the progression of her body that was tired and her desire to be in Heaven with the love of her life (Richard “Dick” Daily) who passed on March 5th, 2015.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church as well as St. Peter the Fisherman when she moved to Pamlico County to live with her daughter and have her care for her. She was raised of Roman Catholic Canadian decent and was very proud of being Canadian French and every chance she got she would try to teach you French as if it was our first language.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Marie, spouse, Timothy Daniell; her son, Christopher (retired Navy Chief Corpsman), his wife, Melissa; her son, Donald and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her brother, Donald Garon wife, Joanne, with their children, Mark & Shelley.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Richard L. Daily and her mother, Edith and father, Roger Garon.

Per her request, a short mass will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, date (TBD).
