David Earl Anderson

David “Dave” Earl Anderson, 82, of New Bern passed away Friday, May 3, 2024.

David was a Navy Veteran and retired from PCS Phosphate as a heavy equipment operator. He was a great husband and loving father who loved to race cars.

He is preceded in death by parents, Noah and Hazel Anderson; brother, Royce Anderson; and sister, Linda Bennett.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Loretta Anderson; children, Stephen Anderson, Michael Anderson, and Randa Paige Anderson; brother, Gerald Anderson (Rose); grandchildren, Christy Hardy, Dustin Anderson, Brittany Anderson, Kaitlynn Jenkins, Meghan Pittman, Michael Anderson, Jason Anderson; and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested memorial contributions be made to any hospice facility.
