David Ridgway, 72, of Grantsboro passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at home.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Ridgway; mother, Myrtle Booye of NJ; son, David Christopher Ridgway (Aimee) of Raleigh; daughter, Cynthia Pierce (William) of Grantsboro; stepchildren, Kimberly Press (Mitchell) of NJ and William Carroll (Tina) of FL; four sisters, Judith Steffa of New Bern, Katherine Edwards of Lexington, Muriel Baker of Hamstead and Faith White of NJ; grandchildren, Matthew Pierce, Aaron Pierce, Naomi Pierce, Abby Ridgway, Emily Ridgway and William Carroll; and great-grandchild, Ryley Carroll.
His graveside service, with military honors, will be held at noon on Saturday, March 31 st at Cahoon-Dixon Cemetery, Grantsboro with Pastor Dwayne Boyd officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday morning at Bryant Funeral Home.
