Doris Daw Sandvig
January 21, 1932 — August 28, 2018
Doris Daw Sandvig, 86, of New Bern, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Riverpoint Crest Nursing Facility.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was also a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Alanna Nikole Garris.
She is survived by two sons, Glenn Sandvig and Michael L. Sandvig, both of New Bern; one sister, Gail Hall of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Paige Sandvig, Amber Garris & Christopher Sandvig; and one great-grandchild, Allen Blaze Garris.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 4 th , at Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel with the Rev. Buford Lewis officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Lakeside Chapel.
