Dorothy Brinson Wayne
December 17, 1937 — September 12, 2023
Dorothy Brinson Wayne, 85, of New Bern, formerly of Reelsboro, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Gardens of Trent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wayne; parents, Horace and Virginia Brinson; sister, Patricia Ann Troop; and son, James Clinton Wayne.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis Wayne, Michael Wayne, and James Wayne (Susan); brother, Buddy Brinson (Paulette); sister, Ella Stevens; two grandchildren, Felicia Wayne and Kyla Wayne; and four great-grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16th at Sandhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
