Douglas Wayne Woolard

Douglas (Doug) Wayne Woolard passed away in New Bern, NC on April 19, 2019.  He was born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA on March 15, 1960.  Douglas was predeceased by his father, Milton W. Woolard and his step-father, Richard Scoppe.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Woolard; mother, Emily Scoppe; sister, Vicki W. Hacker; wife Tricia Lynn Ormond Woolard; step-children Barbara, Amber, Danny, Terry and Jeremy Ormond; and several step-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to carolinacenterofrecovery.org, a school that focuses on kids with substance abuse issues.

Graveside services will be held at Sandhill Cemetery, Reelsboro, at 11: 00 am on Wednesday, April 24 ^th , with the Rev. Mike Roach officiating.
