Drake Everett Day, 32, of Merritt passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on March 20, 2023, in Harnett County.
Drake loved the water and was known for being a jack of all trades. He was currently working as a welder/fabricator in Dunn, NC and was a member of Rack’s Deep 4-Wheeler Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darren Day; his paternal grandfather, Danny Day; and maternal grandmother, Earline Taylor.
Drake leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Gracie “Missy” Garris (Herman Day, Sr.); brothers, Ryan Day (Katlyn), Noah Day, and Herman Day; paternal grandparents, Kenny and Janie Miller; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Day; fiancée, Chelsea Holbach and her sons, Chub-Chubs and Grayson; step-mother, Donna Day; paternal aunt, Dannett Wetherington (Jeff); maternal uncle, Johnnie Wheeler; paternal great-aunt, Anna Arthur; nephew, Donovan Day; and a host of extended family.
His graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 25 th at Concord Christian Church Cemetery.
