Dwight Towns “D.T.” Wilkinson, Jr., 88, of Alliance passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at home.

He retired from U.S. Civil Service-Camp Lejeune after 40+ years of service. His favorite past times were working with wood and travelling to sports games to watch his grandchildren play.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wilkinson on August 2, 2023; parents, Dwight and Cora Wilkinson; and brother, Bruce Wilkinson.

He is survived by his children, Derald Potter, Jr., Cora Foreman (Michael), Carolyn Horn (Dale), Sonja Wagers (Tom), and Christina Dinger (Winston); brothers, Robert Wilkinson (Doris) and Dail Wilkinson (Cindy); grandchildren, Kyle Foreman (Kate), Cody Foreman (Sarah), Christian Horn (Sally), Danielle Woodard (Connor) Cameron Horn (Samantha), Brandon Horn, Krista Horn, Brooks Horn (Lexy), Lauren Miller (Mike), Dwight Kinder, Cody Wagers, Christine Nelson, Courtney Wagers, and Gage Dinger; and great-grandchildren, Avery Horn, Towns Horn, Ashworth Miller, Riggs Horn, Barrett Foreman, Lila Horn, Ryland Woodard, and Sophie Nelson.

A memorial service to honor D.T. and his wife, Frances, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 21st at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald. Military honors will be presented by the U.S. Army.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
