Edna Elizabeth Bratcher

Edna “Betsy” Bratcher of Arapahoe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28,
at the age of 73.

She worked 27 years as a social worker for Craven County Health Department. She took great pride in giving maternity care to her clients.

She was preceded in death by husband, T. Keith Bratcher of Newport, NC. She leaves behind her daughter, Elizabeth Parker (Chad Parker); and grandchildren, Sonia, Andrew, and Lillibeth; as well as 3 stepdaughters from Keith and 3 daughters and one son from her former husband, James Keel.

There will be no funeral arrangements.

When I come to end of my journey,
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile
Until we meet again.
