Edward Stephen Pipkin, III, 75 of Reelsboro passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his home in Newton, NC.

Co-owner of E.S. Pipkin Jr. & Sons Logging and P & W Trucking, he enjoyed his time in the woods. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He was known for being a jokester or telling funny stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve “Junie” Pipkin, Jr. and Katie Pipkin; brothers, Fred Wayne and Phillip Pipkin, Sr.; wife, Debbie Pipkin; and mother of his children, Myrtie Toler.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Holcombe; son, Stephen Pipkin (Terrie); daughter, Stephanie Pipkin Boyd (Guy IV); sister, Debbie Buck (Joe); sister’s-in-law, Debbie Wayne and Anita Pipkin; grandchildren, Kaira “Savannah” Grant, Emilee Shianne Grant, Sarah Sanders, Britany Morgan, Lindsey Ward, and Daniel Johnson; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

His funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Woodard officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Pipkin Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 7th at the funeral home.
