Edward Lee Seagroves

Eddie Seagroves, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his
home in Aurora, NC following a 10-month battle with lung cancer. The family will invite
family and friends to honor his memory with a celebration of Life in spring 2024.

After serving in the army infantry, Eddie had a successful career in the Raleigh based
automotive industry. He worked in automotive parts and was well known and respected
for his ability to fix anything mechanical. Eddie enjoyed all aspects of automotive repair,
if it had a motor, he could fix it.

He loved fishing as a youngster with his dad in local ponds and this love grew to include
eastern North Carolina inner coastal fishing. Full retirement in 2014 led the family to
relocate from Fuquay Varina, NC to enjoy fishing and the good company of friends in
the South Creek area of Aurora, NC.

The family thanks everyone for their prayers and support through the illness and loss of
this well-loved husband, father, grandpa, and friend. Your friendship and love sustain us
as we live without his presence here on earth.

Comprehensive Cancer Center for the extraordinary care provided to Eddie and his
