Edwin Thomas Ireland

Edwin Thomas Ireland, 80, of Lowland, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He worked as a commercial fisherman, merchant marine, and later with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He was also proud of the fact that he took a class and learned how to perform CPR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chestene and Verdie Ireland; wife, Beulah Ireland; brother, Lyle Ireland.

Edwin is survived by his sister, Shelia Andrews; stepchildren, Brenda Rivenbark, Lisa Wood, and Lindsey Sadler, and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 15 ^th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Lowland Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
