Eleanor Adams Armstrong Harrell, 81, of Trent Woods passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Eleanor was a giving person. Her life from the beginning was always to help others in finding ways around a problem and to move forward. Her door was always open to anyone in need, especially to those that had been turned away by others that would not or could not help. She found a way, no matter how bad the situation, and tried to include Jesus as the solution. Her work on Earth is done, she is with her true Master.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Harrell; grandson, Damon Thomas; sister, Kathy Toler; and brothers, Harry, Gary, Joe Tom, and Gene Armstrong.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Jeannie Phillips (Donald) and Rachel Harrell-Harper (Jenny); brothers, Gerald, Ronnie, and Johnny Armstrong; sisters, Mary Lamb, Janice Hill, and Laura Syers; six grandchildren, Little Mike, Jennon, Trey, Coy, Big Trey and Zac; and 15 great grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Eleanor’s life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel.
