Elizabeth Smithwick Hardy

Elizabeth “Betsy” Smithwick Hardy, 85, of Aurora passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Hardy Sr.

She is survived by her two sons, A.B. Hardy Jr. & wife, Wanda, and Levie Hardy; six grandchildren, Mandie Boahn, Rebecca Hardy, Christie Hardy, Lori Roberson, Jamie Overton and Trey Overton; and 10 great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Tyler and Brice Sosebee, Braxton and London Roberson, Leah and Landon Cahoon & Jax, Makenna and Brody Overton.

Her graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22 ^nd at Sandy Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday evening at Bryant Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to White Hill FWB Church, PO Box 519, Aurora, NC 27806.
