Elizabeth "Libby" Isenhart Powers

Elizabeth “Libby” Isenhart Powers, 65, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at home.

Libby is a member of Motion Church. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 40+ years and was the facilitator and founder of Pamlico County Grief Share.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading, shopping, nature walking, Bible studies, and spending time with her family and friends.

Libby was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Len Isenhart; brother, Danny Isenhart; and fiancé, Ray Lane.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Miranda Simpson (Jody Henries); step-children, Staci Powers and Todd Powers (Amber); granddaughters, Angel Archer (Will) and Brylei Simpson; step-grandchildren, Damon and Kayden Powers; brothers, Buster Tinney, Porter Isenhart (Julia), Earl Isenhart (Donna), and Randy Isenhart (Chris); sisters, Millie Rice (Melbie), Sue Walker, and Gayle Isenhart; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6 ^th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor A.B. Almore officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
