Ella Caho Toler

Ella Caho Toler, 86, of Alliance went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the home of her daughter, Jennifer Franklin.

She was a member of South Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she served as secretary for many years. She retired from Pamlico County Schools where she was cafeteria manager of Fred A. Anderson for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Olivia Caho; her husband, John Toler, of 63 years; her twin sister, Jean Keel; and infant son, John Toler, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Johnnie Toler (Kim) of Alliance; two daughters, Darlene Ensley (Ralph) of Alliance, and Jennifer Franklin (Del) of Caton; seven grandchildren, Johnathan Toler, Amy Casey, Josh Toler, Carrie Golden, Amanda Ensley, Rebecca Franklin, and Richard Franklin; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 17 ^th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bryant Funeral Home where her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Jackson and Pastor Jonathan Ipock officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Grantsboro Cemetery.
