Ellis Whitford Cowell, Jr.

Ellis Whitford Cowell, Jr., 56, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.

Ellis Jr., retired from the N.C. Ferry Division where he worked as a diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Cowell, Sr. and significant other, Deloris Lockey.

He is survived by his mother, Betty S. Cowell; sister, Michelle O’Neal (James); niece, Danielle; nephew, Jacob; great niece, Alex; and daughter of the heart, Karla Anderson Mize.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, November 4th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Pamlico, PO Box 6, Bayboro, NC 28515.
