Gloria Jean Hoffler Mercer, 81, of Grantsboro, formerly of Lowland, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at home.

She was a member of Hobucken Pentecostal Holiness Church and a strong supporter of the Republican Party.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ivy and Lennie Stowe; husband, Robbie Mercer, Sr.; daughter, Jo Lynn Mercer; and brother, Gary Stowe.

She is survived by her son, Robbie Mercer, Jr.; daughter, Audrey Mercer; sister, Gayle Thomas (John); two granddaughters, Lauren Mercer Hopkins (Brandon) and Jenna Mercer and caregiver/adopted son, Nelson Cowell.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16 ^th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Blaney Rowe officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Mercer Cemetery, Lowland.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to your local church.
