Grace Truman McIntosh Allen, 84 of Williamston, NC, formerly of Arapahoe, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at The Carrolton of Williamston.

She was a long-time member of Grantsboro Church of God. Affectionately known as “Granny Grace”, she will be remembered for her genuine compassion and generous heart to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Erma Haley; brother, Jimmy McIntosh; husband, James Allen; and great-grandson, William Shockley.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Hardison, Larry Caskey, Cathy Cox (Buddy), and Janeail Snyder; grandchildren, Stacey Pipkin, Christina Squires, James Martinez, Amber Lancaster, Alisha Sawyer, Brian Cox, John Ryan Shockley, and Shawna Young; great-grandchildren, Codi Nicole, Kirsten, Summer, Kayla, Katlyn, Brianna, Brandon, Syrus, Lauren, Jasmin, Ross, Hailey, Jayden, Piper, Aria, Samuel, Ezekiel, Aubrey, Ali-Ryan, and Shanealee; and five great-great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends and relatives from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, October 12th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home.

Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 13th at Sandhill Cemetery, Reelsboro.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to any Alzheimer's or Dementia Research Foundation or any pet welfare foundation of choice.
