Guy Linwood Edwards, II, 94, of Reelsboro passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
He is a member of Broad Creek Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janise Edwards; son, Guy Edwards, III; daughter, Gwendolyn Marie Edwards Johnson (Louis “Carl”); sister, Bethel Tyson; grandchildren, Rebekah McIlwee (Carter) and Zachary Edwards; and great-grandson, Nathan McIlwee.
His graveside service, with military honors, will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 20th at Lowland Community Cemetery with the Rev. Beth Bucksott and Rev. Carl Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to PC Senior Service, Meals on Wheels, PO Box 184, Alliance, NC 28509, Pamlico County Special Olympics, PO Box 401, Grantsboro, NC 28529, or Hospice of Pamlico, PO Box 6, Bayboro, NC 28515.
