February 9, 1930 - September 15, 2018

On Feb. 9, 1930 there was an angel born to Roscoe and Mae Ireland, who left the memories to Julian Broughton, husband, of 70 years; Becton (Neta), Gene (Jean), Shirley Best (Mark) and Barbara Carawan (Doug), her children; Ruth Blandford, sister; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins and un-numbered friends.

Her services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hardison & Rev. Ray Lewis officiating.  Interment will be in Broughton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to Pamlico Co. Rescue Squad, PO Box 302, Bayboro, NC 28515.

The family of Helen wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, visits, phone calls and food during her sickness.
