Howard Bruce Morris, 85, of Bayboro passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport.
He is a member of Bay Creek Christian Church and retired from Hatteras Yachts as a carpenter, after 25+ years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Margaret Morris and grandson, Sean M. Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Morris; son, Bruce W. Morris & wife, Theresa; daughter, Mitzi Barr; six grandchildren, Christian Morris, Shannon Kleinwolterink, Chelsie Morris, Carey Morris, Daniel Barr and Matthew Barr; and seven great-grandchildren.
His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15 th at Bay Creek Christian Church with the Rev. John Anderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bay Creek Christian Church.
