Hugh Lee Godwin, Jr., 81, of Bayboro passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.
Affectionately known as “Buddy”, he is a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. He worked as an automotive mechanic for the majority of his life.
Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Timmy Godwin (Christina) and Troy Godwin (Tina); daughter, Tonya Nobles (Mark); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Glen Barnes, Jr.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church, 12027 Hwy 55, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
