Jackie F. Ireland, Sr.

Jackie F. Ireland, Sr., 86, of Oriental, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Jackie was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashly Grey Wallace; two sisters, Cleora “Sissy” Foreman and Katie Gritz; and one brother, G.R. Ireland, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sue Gaskins Ireland; children, Jackie (Pam) Ireland Jr., Guy (Paula) Ireland, and Carla Ireland Spencer; six grandchildren, Evan (Megan Collins) Ireland, Amiee Love, Jenny (Romeo) Satsatin, David (Kimberly) Spencer, Jr., Jaclyn (Matthew) Nolin, and Scotty (Courtnee) Spencer; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21 ^st at Paul Cemetery, Arapahoe with the Rev. Dwayne Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 20 ^th at Bryant Funeral Home.
