James Leon “Lee” Overton, Jr., 65, of Aurora passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Lee is survived by his wife, Kelly Overton; parents, James Leon “J.L.” Overton, Sr. and Margaret Overton; son, James Leon Overton, III “Trey” (Erica); daughter, Jamie Overton (Sandy); brother, Rickey Overton (Tim); and five grandchildren, Leah, Landon, Jaxsan Overton, Makenna Overton and Brody Overton.

His memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3 ^rd at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Dunbar officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society, 930-A Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC 27834.
