James Edward Nobles
September 12, 1934 — February 24, 2023
James Edward Nobles, 88, of Alliance passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A U. S. Army veteran, James loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coley and Julia Nobles; 14 siblings; his first wife, Marie Turnage Nobles; and grandson, Michael Paul.
Affectionately known as Poppy by his grandchildren, he leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Brenda Toler Nobles; daughters, Virginia Paul (Phillip) and Janice Smith (Robert); stepsons, Steve Miller (Stacey) and Travis Miller; stepdaughter, Tracey Blanche; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
His graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26 th at Alliance United Methodist Church Cemetery.
