Janice Rose Willis, 76, of Grantsboro passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

She worked with the Department of Public Safety Prison Division in Vanceboro before retiring. Janice was a wonderful cook and had a knack for decorating beautifully. “Sister” as known to most, will be fondly remembered and missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel E. Willis and Lois Pipkin Willis; brother, Lionel Willis, Jr.; sister, Paula Banks; and son-in-law, Chris Boyd.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Clarissa Boyd; and brothers, Seth Austin Willis and Shannon Todd Willis.

Her graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26th, at Amity Christian Church Cemetery.
