Jean Audrey Batson Ormond
July 1, 1937 — February 23, 2021
Jean Audrey Batson Ormond, 83, of New Bern, formerly of Pamlico Co., passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at her daughter’s home in New Bern.
She was a very active and involved member of Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Rayfield Ormond; two brothers; two sisters; and granddaughter, Alison Massie-Andrews.
She is survived by three daughters, Dyann (Roger) Massie, Karen (Gary) Garris and Lisa (Michael) Jones; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Sandhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Falcon Children’s Home, c/o Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1212 Neuse Rd., New Bern, NC 28560.
