Jennifer Lee Scales was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She lived a life defined by love, kindness, generosity, and a genuine joy in serving others.
Jennifer had a servant’s heart and found her greatest happiness in making others feel loved and cared for. Whether volunteering her time, lending a helping hand, or serving others throughout her many years in the restaurant industry, she had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and appreciated.
She carried a beautiful, childlike sense of wonder throughout her life. She found joy in the simplest of things, beauty where others might overlook it, and reasons to smile in even the most ordinary moments. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue through all who knew her.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, George and Viola; her sisters, Nan and Brenda; her brother, Ricky; and her husband, Ed Scales.
She is survived by her loving children, Jamie and Chris; her cherished grandchildren, Maddie, Ryder, Xander, Cam, and Lennon; her brothers, George and Bud; her niece, Tina; and her former husband, Jimmy.
Above all, Jennifer will be remembered for the way she loved others, the joy she found in giving, and her remarkable ability to see the beauty in everyday life. Her life was a beautiful reminder that the greatest gifts we can give are kindness, love, and a little bit of ourselves.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 23rd at Two Rivers Church beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.
She made the world a little brighter simply by being in it.
