Jennifer Paige Chance Spencer (January 30, 1974- January 5, 2025)

With great sadness we announce the passing of Jennifer Paige Chance Spencer of Alliance, North Carolina. She passed peacefully Sunday morning, January 5, 2025 in Carolina East Medical Center. Jennifer was born in Selma, Alabama, but spent most of her life in Alliance.

Born in an artistic family, Jennifer grew up surrounded by arts and crafts and was talented in whatever she set her mind to. When in middle school, Jennifer and her cousin built a boat to the amazement of everyone. In high school, Jennifer was a cheerleader and an outgoing person. She loved to joke and have fun. She also loved nature and the outdoors; a love that never left her. She enjoyed looking for butterflies, and worms, and lightening bugs, and loved, loved, loved fishing.

Jennifer married young and started her family young. She was a selfless mother, putting the needs of her family above her own. Her husband, Adam, and her children, Nicolas, Abigail, and Patrick, were the loves of her life. Jennifer was very proud of her kids and was a kind loving mom that could make the best out of a rainy day. She was the mother who would climb on the monkey bars and play as if she were a kid too.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Chance, and father, Walter Chance. She is survived by her husband, Adam Spencer; children, Nicolas Day, Abigail Spencer, and Patrick Spencer; her sisters, Phyllis, Susan, Martha, and Melissa Watson (Chris); aunts, Harriett Rowe, and Diane Hodges; great aunts, Becky Dixon and Betty Bullock; and nephew, Parker Watson; plus, her many beloved cousins.

A visitation will be held at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00am and funeral at 11:00. All family and friends are invited.
