Jerald Dean Hughes
May 20, 1931 — March 21, 2021
Jerald Dean Hughes, 89, of South Creek, Aurora, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at home.
He is an U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired from the Merchant Marines.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha L. Hughes.
He is survived by his children, Carlos Dean (Deborah) Hughes, Debra Hughes (James, Jr.) Potter, Kenneth Allen (Sandra) Hughes and Kathy Hughes (Sandy) Winfrey; six grandchildren, William Joseph Hughes, Rebecca Lynn Hughes, Martha Jo Potter, Jamee Carol Potter, Danielle Stilley and Derek Bennett; and seven great grandchildren.
His graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24 th , at South Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Richards officiating.
