Jimmy Euel Rutherford

October 10, 1934 — July 6, 2024

Jimmy Euel Rutherford, 89, of New Bern passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Euel and Angie Rutherford and brother, Walker Dan Rutherford.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Judy Whorton Rutherford; daughter, Gay Vitolo; sisters, Martha Ann Daviston and Judy Wallace; granddaughters, Angie Moran and Holly Martin; great grandchildren, Zoe Harris (Carter), Ellie Meyers, Zofia Sebeny, Bennett Meyers, and Ava Moran; and great-great-granddaughter, Norah Harris.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
