Johnny Wayne Hill

Johnny Wayne Hill, 59, of the Dawson Creek area, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

He was a loving husband and father who cared deeply for his family and would take care of anyone in need. He was a talented guitar player, amazing chef, and life-long tobacco farmer. When not farming, he loved hunting and fishing or just being outdoors. At an early age Johnny loved music and played with multiple local bands and church groups and eventually Goads Ministries in Piqua, Ohio. Johnny was light hearted and loved to make people laugh. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Elva Hill and nephew, Dustin Harrison.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Theresa Hill; daughter Shannon Hill (Christopher); son, John Michael Hill (Amanda); brother, Dwight Hill (Janet); sisters, Audrey Harrison (Steven), Phyllis Hardison (Gray), and Penny Williams (Jeff); mother-in-law, Esther Brown; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11 ^th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
