Johnny James Kilmer

Johnny James Kilmer, 64, of Grantsboro, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at The Gardens of Pamlico.

Johnny attended Goose Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church. Always willing to help someone, he volunteered with Station #11 Fire Department for 19 years. He enjoyed his work at both Hardison Tire Co and TexasGulf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John James Kilmer and Joanne Newsome Meekins.

Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memory his significant other, Bessie Rice and sister, Leslie Spivey.

A memorial service to honor Johnny’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24th at Goose Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church.
