Johny Bert Armstrong, Jr.

Johny Bert Armstrong, Jr., born December 11, 1955, passed away surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to him.

Johny was a difficult man at times, full of opinions and never one to shy away from saying exactly what he thought. But beneath that tough exterior was a man who loved deeply, worked incredibly hard, and would do just about anything for the people he cared about. He was the kind of man who could fix almost anything with his own two hands, and if someone was in need, he was there to help—never asking for anything in return.

Johny loved being on the water and cherished the simple things in life. One of his greatest joys was supporting his children and grandchildren. He was their biggest supporter, always showing up for their sports and cheering them on in his own way.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Kenneth Bartle; his grandchildren, Autumn, Olivia, Kimberlie; and Easton, sisters; Judy Martin, Sandra Paul, Sue Elson, and Donna Isenhart.

Johny is now reunited with his beloved wife and his son, who went before him. After a lifetime of hard work, love, laughter, strong opinions, and memories that will never be forgotten, he is finally at peace.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18th at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Ashley Trogdon officiating.
