Kathy Dianne Armstrong Toler, 66, of Alliance, NC, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Doris Armstrong and brothers, James Lee “Joe Tom” Armstrong, Bobby Gene Armstrong, William Harold “Harry” Armstrong, and Gary Wayne Armstrong.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Toler; children, Robert Toler (Rebecca), Catherine Toler, and Frank Toler; brothers, Gerald Armstrong (Marie), Ronnie Armstrong (Joyce), and Johnny Armstrong (Darcey); sisters, Eleanor Harrell, Mary Lamb (Bobby), Janice Hill, and Laura Syers (Burl); sister-in-law, Juanita Taylor; and three grandchildren, Matthew Toler, Kaitlyn Toler, and Abigail Toler.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 11th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Simpson officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Alliance Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home

Kathy touched a lot of people’s lives over the years. She was always spreading love and friendship to those who crossed her path.  She had the biggest heart and loved her family and friends.  She seemed to be everyone’s Aunt Kathy. She was also known as the “Candy Lady” to her children’s childhood friends. She was so many things to so many people and was always the most loving and caring person that anyone could ask to be around.  She always put others in front of herself and always looked out for her family and friends. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her three grandchildren.  Those who knew her were very fortunate to be touched by her warmth and kindness.
