Larry Moore Scott, Jr.

Larry Moore Scott, Jr., 79, of Reelsboro passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was a member of Rock of Zion OFWB Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Larry retired after 41 years of service from the telephone company. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Scott Sr. and mother, Evelyn Scott Gaskins.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Rosalie Scott; sons, Mark Scott and wife, Leisa, and James Scott; brother, Phillip Scott and wife, Susan; sister, Mary Alice Scott Waters and husband, Charles; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 25 ^th at Rock of Zion OFWB Church with the Rev. Ray Lewis officiating. Interment with military honors will follow immediately in Green-Banks Cemetery on Roberts Road.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Rock of Zion OFWB Church, PO Box 381, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
