Larry Earl Smith

Larry Earl Smith, 69, of Aurora, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at Carolina East Medical Center.

A man of Godly character, he was a member of Meeting Place Church where he served as a senior council member. He retired from PCS Phosphate after 38 years of service. He more recently owned and operated Larry Smith Stump Grinding, many called him “Santa”. A man of few words, he loved God above all, but loved all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Murray Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evlynn “Bootsie” H. Smith; mother, Lucille Smith; sons, Aaron (Helene) Smith and Steven (Pearl) Smith; brother, Danny (Marie) Smith; sisters, Sandra (Marvin) Sartin, Teresa Swain and Brenda (Mitchell) Roberson; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Grace, Anna, Lily and Julia Smith.

His graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28 ^th at White Hill FWB Church Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Lewis officiating.
