Lee Matthew Holton, 73, of Arapahoe passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Kinston.

Lee was an avid hunter and enjoyed running dogs at the fox pen. He worked construction the majority of his life.

He was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Hilda Holton; and brother, Jackie Holton.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruby Holton; children, Amy Waters (Austin), Chris Holton, and Danny Sawyer (Amber); brothers, Larry Holton (Sandra), Jeffrey Holton (Marion), and Billy Holton (Lynn); five grandchildren, Anna Holton, Chase Holton, Jarrod Holton, Kylie Sawyer and Jacob Sawyer; and two great grandchildren, Katherine and Emma.

His memorial service, with military honors, will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5 th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
