Lillian Grace Tillman

October 17, 2010 — August 4, 2025

Arapahoe

Lillian Grace Tillman, 14, of Arapahoe, NC was born to proud parents, Christopher and Elizabeth Tillman on October 17, 2010, in Greenville, NC.

Lillian, fondly known as Lillie by her friends and family, is survived by her parents; her sister, Paisley Nicole Tillman; her maternal grandparents, John and Penny Dollar Farmer; her paternal grandparents, Curtis and Rhonda Scott Tillman; her aunts and uncles, Kayla and Mickey Baker, Grace and Phillip Nanney; and cousins, Grayson and Audrey Nanney; and many more extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Jasper Roy Baker, Joseph “Joey” Tillman, Patsy Scott Barnes, William “Billy” Scott, Lillie Tillman, Joe Tillman Sr., Ruby K. Dollar, James “Jim” Dollar, Sr., Margaret “Margie” S. Farmer, Archie Farmer and other family and friends.

Lillie proclaimed Jesus as her Savior and was a member of Alliance United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed worshipping with her family at Trent Free Will Baptist Church. Though Lillie tragically lost her life in a car accident on August 4, 2025, she lived the fourteen years we were blessed to have her, to the fullest. Lillie was pure love. She showered her friends and family with countless hugs, kisses, laughs, smiles, compassion, and protection. Lillie leaves behind treasured friends who will carry her fun and loving spirit in their memories.

She held a very special place in her heart for all types of animals and enjoyed being active in the local 4H and in her Pamlico County Middle School’s Future Farmers of America chapter. Lillie was also an extremely talented artist with a knack for working with her hands. Lillie’s hobbies and interest stretched from creating amazing memories with her sister (who was her favorite person in the world) to seashell hunting, painting everything in sight (no surface was complete without some paint on it), drawing, crafting, crocheting, farming with her Dad and Grandpa, hunting, fishing, riding horses, and raising animals. No matter what Lillie was doing, she had a smile to share and a precious laugh to go with it. Her family will miss Lillie greatly and will take her pure loving spirit with them throughout their lives until they are reunited with her in Heaven’s Glory.

Lillie’s family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at an outdoor service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 17th at Camp Don Lee in Arapahoe officiated by the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald. The service will be recorded for those not able to attend and will be posted on her obituary page within a couple of days following the service.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home, 52 Bryant St. PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509, to assist the family with expenses during this unexpected loss.
