Lillie Mae Barker Pegram, 86, of Bayboro passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Lillie Mae is a member of Washington Church of God of Prophecy but was recently attending Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Pegram, Sr.; her parents, Jim and Lillie Barker; brothers, Floyd, J.C., Roosevelt, and Gilbert; sisters, Arzella Midyette, Christine Modlin, Caralee Lancaster, Edna Lancaster, and Elizabeth Barker; and great-great grandson, Everette Wayne Pegram.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Russell Pegram, Jr. and wife, Annette; daughter, Sheila Pegram (Betty, Friend); brother, Candler Barker; sisters, Ethel Warner, Margie Peaden, and Beatrice Apple; grandchildren, Mary Boyd, David Pegram (Julie), and Ryan Toler (Erin); great grandchildren, Kristin (Jeff, significant other), Amber, Catherine Alexis, Guy, Halle, and Grayson; and great-great grandchildren, Broughton, Aleese, Madison, and Lily.

A funeral service to honor Lillie Mae’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 10th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
