Linda Brown Zielinski

Linda Marie Zielinski, of Oriental, North Carolina, passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born April 6, 1946, in Bay Shore, NY, Linda was the youngest of three children of William and Marie Brown.

After graduating from SUNY Oneonta, Linda moved to New Paltz, NY with her son Christopher. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Hyde Park, and got remarried to Ronald Zielinski in 1984.

Upon retirement, Linda and Ron moved to Oriental, NC where she volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and joined the congregation of Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish.

She loved spending time in her yard gardening and researching her family tree on Ancestry.com as a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Her greatest joy, however, came when surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 on Saturday, February 1st, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home in Alliance NC.
