Linwood Harold Pipkin

Linwood “Bobby” Harold Pipkin, 86, of Blount’s Creek, NC passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at his daughter’s home.

Bobby graduated from Aurora High School in 1950. After graduation he joined the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Panama. After returning to Aurora, he enjoyed his life’s work of tobacco and grain farming and also farmed turkeys. He loved his little dogs, Gracie and Rosie and enjoyed time spent with the family he loved so dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Vera Pipkin; sister, Joyce Pipkin Berry; and stepson, Michael Snider.

Those left to carry on his memory are daughters, Lynn (Harold) Lewis and Cathy Baldwin; his companion, Judy Snider; stepchildren, Billy & Julie Snider; sisters, Linda Carol Burti, Rita Jackson and Jeannie Sawyer; grandchildren, Nikki Kies, Leigh Jones, Holly Nelson, Chris Baldwin and Jason Baldwin; six step-grandchildren; and numerous great and step-great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
