Margaret Louise Sawyer
July 2, 1933 — June 9, 2023
Margaret Louise Mercer Sawyer, 89, of Grantsboro passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff D. Sawyer, Sr.; sisters, Lois McCoy (Newt) and Joyce Riggs.
She is survived by her son, Jeff D. Sawyer, Jr.; daughters, Debbie Arnold, Patricia Lowery, and Sue Sprencel (Chris); brothers, Alton Ray Riggs and William Riggs; sister, Betty Sue Murdock (Bobby); seven grandchildren, Jeremy, T.J., Amber, Lisa, Tiphney, Kelsey, and Jacob; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held 2:00p.m.,Tuesday, June 13th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her home 2136 NC Hwy 306, Grantsboro.
