Michael Hankinson

Michael Hankinson, son of Stephan Hankinson (deceased) and Walter and Phyllis (deceased) Bennett, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021, from a motor vehicle accident. He was a member of the South East Iron Workers Local Union 397 for 20 years and was employed by Smithfield Foods for the past year.

He was a loving husband survived by his wife, Vicki Hankinson for 24 years. He was a wonderful father of four; Jessica Jordan (Scott), Steven Hankinson, Shannon Hankinson (Cody), and Tara Balouch (Aazan). He has three beautiful grandchildren, Derik Paul, Stetson Wayne, and Michael Dean. He also has three step grandchildren, Caley, Sam, and Josh. His sister Suzanne Shook (Jeff); niece, Autumn, and nephew, Austin, whom he loved dearly.

Extended family: Duane (Linda) Nanz, Stacy (Jeff) Griffin, Travis (Jennifer) Nanz; nephews: Andrew, Bryce, and Brendon; step siblings: Walter (Tammie) Bennett, Elaine (Ray) Scott and their children, Stephanie and Sadie Bennett, Marie, and Steven Scott.
