Nancy Myers Miller

Nancy M. Miller, 83, of Oriental passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at Bayview Nursing & Rehab Center.

Originally from Canton, Ohio, Nancy is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She and her husband, Paul, moved from Ohio to Oriental in 1995 to get away from the snow and enjoy boating. Nancy was a member of the Oriental Women’s Club and Oriental Gardens Club. She was also a member of “SCOO” the Sailing Club of Oriental and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She will be remembered for her love of her dogs, Ginger, Nette, and Pesty and her amazing cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maya Myers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of nearly 49 years this Valentine’s Day, Paul Miller; son, Mitchel Miller (Trudy Martin); daughter, Kelly Miller; grandchildren, Jacob Paxton (Cori) and Megan Paxton Wuebker (Stephen); step-grandchildren, Heather Shaffer and Mitchell Carder, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Reese and Ryan Paxton.

A visitation/viewing for family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home. Immediately following the service a wake will be held at the family home, 6001 Mainsale Point Road, Oriental, NC 28571.
