Nancy Kay Micou Norris

Nancy Kay Micou Norris was born in Roanoke Virginia to Agnes Madeline Farmer Micou and James Roy Micou on May 7, 1934. She spent 54 years of wedded bliss at the side of John Benjamin Norris before he met his Lord and Savior on February 20, 2007. She enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, fellowship at the waterfront, and attending the Oriental United Methodist Church. Nancy will be missed by so many.

Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, her mother, father and her only brother, James Roy Micou Jr. (Jimmy).

Nancy is survived by: Her sister, Agnes Lilly of Chesterfield, VA; her two daughters, Kay Nuechterlein (Bruce) of Clayton, NC, and Susan Tosi (Joc) of Powers Lake, WI; her grandchildren, Steven Anstoetter, Eric Anstoetter (Jessica), Alex Tosi (Sarah), and Wyatt Tosi (Amber); her great-grandchildren; Arlo Tosi, and Sunny Tosi; her six nieces and two nephews.

With a grateful heart, Nancy passed peacefully in her home with family by her side on May 30th, 2024.

We invite you to remember her life fulfilled at a memorial service at 11:00 am, Friday, June 7th, 2024, at Lou Mac Park in Oriental.
